KATHY WAHLER
Kathy Wahler received an RN and BA in Health Education. She served as a geriatric nurse and instructor of nurses in a nurses' education program in NJ. Kathy studied art at Colorado Mountain College with Kate Kiesler, Ann Weaver, Leeann Wirta, and Leona Sophicles.
She is a Founding Member of Women of Watercolor and served as President and Treasurer. She is a member of the Summit Council Arts Council and exhibited her watercolors at the Arts Alive Gallery.
Kathy has exhibited in Summit County, Colorado at the Speakeasy Theatre, the Silverthorne and Frisco libraries, the Frisco Senior Center, the Log Cabin restaurant, the Breckenridge Theater, The Electrica Gallery at Copper Mountain and with the Summit County Garden Club. Kathy's art hangs in the St. Augustine, Florida Community Center and the Starving Artist Gallery in Old Town, St. Augustine. She also takes workshops there with Shirley de Pasquale.
"I interpret the world according to my creative inspirations. The outdoors speaks to me. I love painting plein aire in the mountains and the shores of St. Augustine Beach, Florida.
