Painting as a watercolor artist is relatively new for me, though I have always enjoyed different forms of arts and crafts. My husband and I raised our family in central Florida where I worked as a RN. It wasn't until my retirement that I began to have more time to paint. My introduction to watercolor came when we moved to Colorado 6 years ago. It was here that I got involved with the Women of Watercolor. I soon found the friendship and support of other artists who inspired me to pursue watercolor as a medium.
I have studied with Kate Kiesler and taken numerous workshops with local and national artists. I have also developed a love of photography and am constantly inspired by the beauty of Summit County . I love the changing landscape and summer wild flowers which often become the subject of both art and photos.
