Sandi Bruns is the "Featured Artist" for August at the Arts Alive! Gallery in Breckenridge, Colorado. See her vibrant art at 500 South Main Street.

Congratulations to Sarah Bracco for her first place painting, "Kayaks" and to Nancy Long for the People's Choice Award for "Facing the Sun" at the "Summer on the Summit" juried show.

Four members have won places in the juried show, "Summer on the Summit," sponsored by the Summit County Arts Council in Breckenridge, Colorado. See their work at the reception on July 9 and all month at the Arts Alive! Gallery, 500 South Main Street. Congratulations, Sarah Bracco, Sandi Bruns, Mary Lou Johns, and Nancy Long.

Mary Lou Johns will be the "Featured Artist" for June at the Arts Alive! Gallery in Breckenridge, Colorado. Drop in at the opening reception on June 11, 4-8 PM to see her latest creations and to enjoy some wine and cheese.

Jerre Smith's watercolor "Sunflower Profile" was selected for publication in Colorado Mountain College's Rocky Mountain Reflections journal for the fall 2010 semester.

Nancy Long's "Trout" painting on Yupo paper was awarded First Place  in the 2-Dimensional category of the Arts Alive Juried Summer on the Summit 2010 Show.
 
Women of Watercolor were featured on the front page of the August 4, 2010 edition of the Summit Daily News.
 
Jerre Smith was commissioned by the Keystone Neighbourhood Company to paint the poster for the August, 2010 Blues and Art Festival at River Run, Keystone. 

The Continental Divide Land Trust sponsored a juried plein air painting event as a fundraiser. Members Mary Lou Johns and Sandi Bruns participated On July 18 with several of their watercolors being sold to aid the cause.
