Members' News and Activities

Nancy Long's "Trout" painting on Yupo paper was awarded First Place  in the 2-Dimensional category of the Arts Alive Juried Summer on the Summit 2010 Show.
 
Women of Watercolor were featured on the front page of the August 4, 2010 edition of the Summit Daily News.
 
Jerre Smith was commissioned by the Keystone Neighbourhood Company to paint the poster for the August, 2010 Blues and Art Festival at River Run, Keystone. 

The Continental Divide Land Trust sponsored a juried plein air painting event as a fundraiser. Members Mary Lou Johns and Sandi Bruns participated On July 18 with several of their watercolors being sold to aid to cause.

July, 2010:   Five members (Mary Lou Johns, Jerre Smith, Kathy Wahler, Nancy Long, and Sandi Bruns) are part of the annual juried show, "Summer On The Summit" sponsored by the Summit County Arts Council. Their work will be on view at the Arts Alive Gallery, 500 South Main Street, Breckenridge, Colorado all month. An artists' reception is on July 10, 4-8 PM at the gallery.

July, 2010: Eileen O'Sullivan and Judy Skovlin present their paintings at The Speakeasy Theatre Gallery, 13 S. Harris St., Breckenridge, Colorado. Artists' reception- July 6, 6-8 PM.

June, 2010:  Susan Handelman and Nancy Long have been accepted in the Arts Alive Gallery, Breckenridge, Colorado. This artists co-op features a variety of art by Summit County artists.

May, 2010: Sandi Bruns presented her one-woman show in Omaha, Nebraska.
